Getting travellers onboard: Enhancing the booking experience and integrating your travel programme (March 2020)

Business travellers expect their corporate travel booking platforms and tools to offer a user experience similar to the consumer-facing apps they use in their daily lives. The challenge and the opportunity for providers is meeting these expectations while facilitating complex requirements such as configuring bespoke rules and displays to reflect policy. Today‚Äôs technologies can help build more fully integrated travel programmes that offer a better user experience and drive efficiencies, duty of care and savings.

This session will provide actionable insights based on recent ACTE research conducted in collaboration with American Express Global Business Travel, looking and the benefits and barriers to implementing more integrated travel programmes. Understanding both business and traveller needs, and getting broader stakeholder buy-in, is critical to improving the booking experience and achieving greater integration. In this webinar, we will:

  • Explore the main challenges that prevent OBT adoption and inhibit end-to-end integration
  • Examine successful strategies in engaging different traveller groups via the channels they use in their everyday lives and getting their buy-in; and
  • Share concrete examples of how to use change management principles to work with organizational and external stakeholders and meet traveler expectations
